Step1   Free talk

T: Hello, I’m Lily.

S1: Hello, I’m Jerry.

T: Nice to meet you.

S1: Nice to meet you, too.

T: Good morning, I’m Lily.

S2: Good morning, Im Eric.

T: Nice to meet you, Eric.

S2: Nice to meet you, Lily.

T: Look at my jacket.

S2: Its nice.

T: Thank you.

T: Hello! Are you Daisy?

S3: No, I’m not. I’m Cassie.

T: Nice to meet you.

S3: Nice to meet you, too.

T: Whats this?

S3: Its a

T: Good. Now can you introduce your friends to me?

S4: Hello, Lily. This is Hes my friend.

T: Oh, nice to meet you.

S5: Nice to meet you, too.

【设计意图】为了检测学生对本册书日常交际用语的掌握情况,所以在课始的Free talk中综合运用了后四个单元的重点句型,一方面让学生快速进入状态,另一方面也为学生对话的完整性做了示范。

Step2   Sing a song

T: Good. Are you happy?

Ss: Yes.

T: Now lets sing a song. First, lets listen.

Ss: Listen to the song.

T: Whats in this song?

Ss: Colours.

T: Good. What colours do you know?

S1: Red.

S2: Green.

S3: Blue.

T: Good. Now read the words quickly.

Ss Read the colour words.

T: Good. Lets sing the song together.

Ss sing the song.

T: Oh, who is wearing blue today?

Ss穿蓝色衣服的学生站起来

T: Shall we sing the song?

Ss穿蓝色衣服的学生站起来Sing together.

T: Good. Whos wearing orange today?

Ss穿橙色衣服的学生站起来

T: Lets sing it together.

Ss全班一起唱

T: Good. Look at my jacket. What colour is it?

Ss: Its yellow and white.

T: Is it nice?

Ss: Yes. Its nice.

T: Thank you. Now can you say something about your clothes? You can use these sentences. (课件呈现句型Look at my What colour is?

Ss practice in pairs.

T选几组学生进行反馈

【设计意图】歌曲的改编在学习U6时已经练习过,这里再次唱歌,让学生回顾单词和句型,以及一些三会词汇,再次丰富学生的口语。以歌曲的形式复习单词,继而操练介绍服饰的句型和表演,一以贯之。

Step3   Play a guessing game

T: Good. Do you like this song?

Ss: Yes.

T: Now look, I have a lot of colourful cards. What colour is it?

Ss: Its red.

T: Is this yellow?

Ss: Yes. (把几张卡片背面的色彩快速确认一下)

T: Look at this blue card. Theres a wonderful thing on it. Ill show it quickly. Please

look carefully. (快速呈现图片hot dog

Ss: Its a hot dog.

T: Good. Lets try again. Whats this? (快速呈现图片)

Ss: Its an ice cream.

T: Good. Now lets play a guessing game. Try to guess whats in the card. It is very

sweet, and you have it on your birthday!

S进行猜测

S1: Its a cake.

T: Good. Would you like a cake?

S1: Yes, please.

T: Here you are.

S1: Thank you.

T: Youre welcome.(教师再做一次示范)

T: Good. Would you like to try? You can come here to let the others guess.

(选择一名学生上台)

S1任选一张卡片Whats this?

T可在一旁给些提示

(教师再请几名学生上台与其他学生互动)

T: Oh, this is the last card. Whats this?

S: Guess.

T: Look, its a puppet. Do you like puppets?

S: Yes.

【设计意图】此部分复习U7内容,以便后面puppet showshop中表演对话,由于该部分内容学生很熟悉,故以guessing game的形式,调动学生的积极性,在对话时,注意完整性,尤其是购物的用语要注意指导。

Step4   Show the puppets

T: Good. Do you have puppets?

S: Yes.

T: Now first open your books and write something about your puppets.

Ss open their books.

T: For example, this is my puppet. I call her Helen. I like blue, so I made a blue

skirt for her. Its very nice.(课件上呈现表格及完成步骤)

Ss try to understand.

T: So first give your puppet a name, then tick the boxes and paint. Do it by yourselves.

Ss do the exercise.

T: Good. Can you say something about your puppets? Look, this is my puppet.

(呈现句型)Hello, I’m Helen. Look at my dress. Its blue. Its nice.

Ss listen.

T: Can you try to introduce your puppet like this?

S: Yes.

T: Show your puppets in groups.

Ss practice in groups.

【设计意图】puppet学生要课前制作好,并准备好介绍用语,课前可以和朋友们玩一玩。从制作puppet到用puppet表演,学生都很喜欢,这种舞台剧更能吸引他们的兴趣,要注意纪律的维控。

Step5 Learn the scenes

T: Boys and girls, look, we have our puppets, and we will have a puppet show. We

need some scenes. Here are five scenes. Can you read them?(呈现场景)

Ss read the scenes.

T: Before the performance, lets have a discussion, what questions can you use in

these scenes, and how can you answer?

T: (呈现新年聚会图片)Lets try to talk about this scene together. What can you

say?

S1: Happy New Year!

S2: This is for you.

S3:

T: (将学生说出的正确的句子板书)

T: Good. Now we have four scenes left. Each group choose one scene and discuss the sentences in groups.

Ss先选择相应的场景,在小组内讨论句型

T根据学生反馈的句型板书

【设计意图】书中提供四个场景,我多设计一个In a clothes shop,这样边将U5U7的句型联系起来,同时复习课也将四个单元的知识都运用到其中了,更显的整合。

Step6   Have a puppet show

T: Now, Helen (my puppet) wants to have a puppet show with you.

(选择一名学生带着木偶到讲台前)

T: Which scene do we choose?

S1: Scene 2.

T&S1: (根据所选场景进行对话创编,给其他学生做示范)

T: Now have an exciting puppet show in pairs or groups.

Ss have the puppet show.

【设计意图】我为学生提供五个场景,学生根据组员的需要,任选其一,然后准备,这样将选择的主动权教给学生,但是教师要指导表演木偶剧的注意事项,教师要先示范,鼓励学生尽量综合运用所学的句型。

Step7    Homework

  1. Listen to the tape from U5-U8.

    Write 26 letters in order twice.
